Hello, Girlies.. I know it's early to post May favorites but I was asked to do it so I thought why not today. This month I'm very excited to share my favorites, Let's go..

Lady Gaga Fame I got this perfume few months ago but I haven't got the chance to wear it until recently and I loved it, it's a unique scent, for me it's a mix between honey and  musk.. I just love it.

Artdeco Perfect Teint Concealer #6 Artdeco is a German brand that I didn't hear about before getting this concealer, the coverage is okay but I use it to highlight and it does an amazing job, the only con is that it was too pricey.

NYX Matte Lip Cream in Ibiza I wear it every day, I don't put anything else on my lips, I love it so much that I want to get all the colors.

Beauty Credit Fresh Kiwi & Yogurt mask Beauty Credit is a Korean brand, I tried a mascara and a lip gloss from this brand before and I liked them so I wanted to try the skincare, since the Korean skincare is a trend now. I loved the mask, it moisturises and lives your skin soft and bright, and it wasn't expensive at all!

She Nail polish the color doesn't have a name but it's like fuchsia ,purple and pink in one nail polish.

  

Benna Chocolate cake it's cake filled and covered with chocolate , it's the perfect post-lunch treat. 

Whiplash Where do I begin? this movie is brilliant! J.K. Simmons is brilliant! the soundtrack is great! The last 7 minutes in the movies were so intense, The movie is not just about a boy who wants to become a professional drummer and his mentor is an as*hole, I think it has a deeper meaning than that.. Just do yourself a favor and watch it if you haven't yet.

 Hello Girlies, let's go through my trash before I get rid of it...

 Bioderma sensibio Light .. I LOVE this product, I love Bioderma products in general but this one is the best day cream ever, and it's a great makeup base as well ,I already have a backup.

Moschino Pink bouquet perfume .. I got this sample in subscription box, it's not bad but it's not my cup of tea.

Maybelline Define A-Lash mascara .. I've had this mascara since this post so I had to throw it away, I probably won't repurchase it.

Sebamed Antibacterial Cleansing Foam .. that was my second bottle, I've been using this product for almost a year and I really like it as a morning face wash, currently am using Body Shop tea tree facial wash and once I finish it I'll go back to Sebamed cleansing foam.

Garnier BB Cream (Light) .. It's great for my oily skin, I'm in the middle of the second bottle.

2 Maybelline Colossal Kajal .. It's creamy and nice but not black enough, I don't know if I will repurchase it.

Garnier Essentials night cream .. I didn't feel any difference, I'm not repurchasing it,

Bath&Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar body mist .. can we just take a minute to appreciate this scent?! whoever came up with this scent is a genius, I'll definitely repurchase it.

Police Dark fragrance .. I really liked it although it reminds me of a perfume an old lady would wear but I don't care I'll repurchase it. 

Easy Baby Care wipes .. I usually use baby wipes as makeup remover but this one is not my favorite, it smells like baby powder which is not a nice scent to have on your face, I won't repurchase.

Septona cotton rounds .. never heard of this brand before but it did the job, I already have a backup of these.

Body Shop Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask .. I liked it, it has a lot of product so I got 2 uses out of it, it left my skin smooth and didn't break me out, definitely I'm going to repurchase it.

5 products I currently use

Hello Girlies, today I'm posting about 5 products that I'm using at the moment, some of them I like and some of them I'm using just to finish up and never buy them again.

1. Body Shop shea eau de toilette This is my favorite scent from the Body Shop, it's a bit musky and clean, the only con is that I have to re-apply it like every 2 hours or so, I just ran out of my second bottle and I will purchase it again.

2. Garnier Light Brightening Eye Roller the main reason I purchased it is to reduce my under-eye circles but I didn't see any difference, I just can't wait to finish this one up and not repurchasing again.

3. Avon Foot Works It's like a gentle scrub for foot, it's nice and it wasn't expensive so I would repurchase again.

4. Rimmle Volume Flash I had this mascara for awhile and I forgot about it and I rediscovered it again when I looked through my collection, it's definitely a great mascara, it gives nice long thick lashes, I would purchase again.

5. Purederm nose pore strips If you follow me on Instagram you would know that I'm a HUGE Purederm fan and I love all their stuff, it has 6 strips but it last me almost 5 months, I went through a box and I have a backup.

Enigma Discovery Box unboxing - November

Hello, today's post is going to be an un-boxing of Enigma Discovery Box 

For those of you who don't know, it's a subscription service that provides you with variety of products from hair products, perfumes, makeup, and snacks.. Here's an overview on what's inside the box

Let's jump right in ..

1. CHI Volume Booster liquid bodifying glaze 

I already have thick hair so I wouldn't use it, so I'll give it away.

2. Renee Blanche Doccianatura Lavender shower gel 

Never heard of this brand but it smells very nice!

3. Marriott Pasta Fresca

When they said I'll get snacks in my box I didn't expect to get a bag of colored pasta.. I'm disappointed with that one you guys.

4. Kerastase Initialiste hair serum

I received it before in my last December box, I loved it.

5. Maybelline Color Show nail polish in Urban Coral

I'm a sucker for Maybelline nail polishes.. I'm happy with this one!

6. Cyble Brow Mania pencil in dark brown

I received this one before in my last December box, again .. it's okay, I can't complain 

7. Veet wax strips

I'm a big fan of Veet facial strips so I think I'll like these.

and last but not least 2 copies of Enigma November issues in Arabic and English

What I did not like about the box, is that 2 out of 9 products were in last December box, I thought the point of subscription boxes is to try out new products, and the pasta bag 

What I liked about my box is that I didn't receive any vouchers which is AWESOME and all the products are full size.. Good Job, Enigma!

..I'd give this box 8 out of 10 #KeepItUpEnigma! :)

November favorites

Hello girlies, can you believe it's December already?! and Christmas is in less than 3 weeks! #happy

I have a lot of favorites for the past month so let's go through them ..

L'oreal Voluminous mascara I love all L'oreal mascaras but this one is beautiful, it separates the lashes. Every time I wear it, it feels like I have lashes extensions on!

Nuxe Aroma-Perfection anti-shine fluid it is so light, I only use one bump with a little of Palmer's moisturizer ,and that's a wonderful face primer

Maybelline Color Tattoo "Bad To The Bronze" I've been eyeing this one since forever, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I ordered it online and I'm very happy with it

Food

Millefoglie D'italia Bocconcini it is the most sweet, crispy, buttery yet light cookies I've ever tasted, 

-it was so hard to keep these two for the pictures- :)

Randoms

Falling Leaves candle by Candle-Lit it is very similar to BBW leaves candles but this one is much cheaper #ThumbsUp

Ahmed tea Mixed Citrus this tea screams WINTER, if I could drink only one tea for the rest of the winter it would be it

Book

 

"Elhawl" or "Horror" by Dr. Ahmed K.Tawfiq .. if you're into American Horror Story then you must read this book.

small makeup haul and my first impression

Revlon colorburst lip butter in Tutti Frutti it's like a lipbalm that has a coral tint to it, it smells nice but it's not as moisturizing as I thought it would be.

Hard Candy "in the shadows" palette it came with a mini eye primer, the colors are pigmented, and it wasn't expensive at all.

Tanwise self-tanning face gel it has a citrussy scent, and it gives a nice glow to the skin.

June favorites

Hello folks, I gotta say that I'm so glad June is over, Let's dig in my favorites

Bath & Body Works warm vanilla sugar body mist .. I think that's how heaven smells like! although vanilla scents can be overwhelming sometimes, this one is very soft and it is actually has a warm feeling to it!

Delon chocolate .. this chocolate had been my favorite treat for this past month

Real Techniques expert brush .. I've never been a fan of foundation brushes but this one is different, it gives the foundation a dewy finish and it doesn't leave any streaks

Nescafe Gold .. I think you already know that I love coffee -who doesn't?-  this one is rich, and strong, definitely my taste

Himalaya purifying neem face wash .. I've read a lot of good reviews about this brand but i never tried any of it's products and I needed a face wash so I bought the small size just to give it a try and I liked the way my skin feels like after using it, my skin has been clear, it didn't break my out

Philosophy the supernatural coloring book .. this palette has 2 blushes, 1 cream blush, 2 lip glosses, 2 eye shadows

although it's one of my favorite palettes and it has everything you would need to create a natural look but there're cons in this palette, the eye shadows aren't pigmented and the packaging looks cheap

but I like the blushes and the lip glosses very much

Artdeco perfect teint concealer in refreshing rose .. it's a little bit pricey but it's so worth it.

Jordana easyliner for lips in Tawny .. this is the second product to try from Jordana and am officially in love with it! 

Max Factor miracle touch creamy blush in Soft Cardinal  .. simply, the best cream blush I've ever used!

Fashion favorites

Aerosoft flip-flops .. love these ones. They are soft, comfortable and so freakin' adorable!

Butterflies bracelet .. I got this bracelet as a present for myself, it's nice to pamper yourself every once in awhile

Random favorites

Twinings white tea .. of course, it can't be a favorites post without a favorite tea. what I like about it that it's not strong and relaxing

4 overnight beauty products you should be using

Have you ever spent the whole night try to get some sleep because you have to wake up early, and you're like 'if I fall asleep now I'll get 6 hours sleep .. okay, if I fall asleep now I'll get 5 hours sleep' and after awhile you wake up look like Sh%@ ..and unfortunately, concealer and powder won't hide your tiredness

So, here's what the beauty expert Carly Woods from Se1girl has to say about that

When it comes to beauty sleep, I think we generally fall into two categories; those who have managed 8 hours of sleep a night and those who haven’t. For the ones who haven’t, they consequently have to do a darn good job faking it.

So, why does this happen? Simply put, sleep is an essential component to an effective skin care regimen, a time when our skin heals and repairs itself. Therefore, if you’re not getting enough sleep, your skin may start to suffer.

If you need help utilizing the small number of hours you do get or you want to ensure you are stretching your 8 hours as far as they can go, you need the right tools. There are specific night time products that can work in harmony with your skin’s renewal process. More than not, these products will be heavier and thicker consistencies. For this reason, washing your face in the morning is equally as important as washing it at night – you need to remove these heavy products or your skin may become congested.

1. Begin With The Base

First, I always recommend using a serum. Facial serums are used to address specific problems such as wrinkles, aging and brightness. Apply a few drops to clean skin and using your hands press the serum into your skin.

2. Add The Primer

Especially in the colder months, you want to follow step one with a layer of oil for added hydration. Plus, you will wake up with beautiful and plump skin.

3. Don’t Forget To Moisturize!

Lastly, simply apply a moisturizer.  My advice is to opt for a comforting and hydrating formula. I like to see it as a blanket; keeping in the goodness of the serum and oil.

4. Last But Not Least - Give Your Eyes Some Love

Don’t forget an eye cream! Try to use a powerful wrinkle reducing formula. Make sure you always use a very tiny amount; overloading the skin around your eyes with too much of a heavy product can cause puffiness and sometimes breakouts.

For extra credit...

On days when you have little to no time or just want to fall into bed, try an overnight facial. Now this doesn’t mean you have to lie still with your face up to ensure you don’t cover your pillow in product. You can use facial creams that are highly concentrated and you use like a serum or moisturiser for a powerful whack of goodness.
