in my mother's cookbook

Sweet Goulash
I made this sweet Goulash the past weekend and it was delicious ,I borrowed the recipe from my mother's cookbook (my grandpa was a chef at Groppi and my mother kept all the recipe he made in a little brown notebook) Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 Goulash roll (divide it into 2 parts)
2 cups of melted butter

for filling you'll need:

Crushed Nuts (as mush as you want)
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of sugar

Method:
Set the oven on 200 degree, wipe a tray with oil ,set the first part of the goulash on the tray then add the crushed nuts with cinnamon and the sugar ,then set the second part of the goulash.
Cut the goulash into squares ,spray it with the melted butter and then spray some water over the goulash -to be crunchy- and place the tray in the oven for 20 minutes.
The last step, pour the syrup over the goulash.

To make the syrup you'll need:

2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of water
1 lemon juice

how to make the syrup:

Put the sugar on the stove then add the water ,and when it boils add the lemon juice. and let it all boil for 2 minutes.
